We’re still catching up on our backlog of blogging weddings! Wedding photography is not for the faint of heart during pandemic times, but thankfully we are alright 🙂
Before the pandemic I think we would get a little more nervous when hearing the words “backyard wedding”. However, now it’s something people, including us photographers, have experienced quite a lot in the past 2 years. To make a backyard to look great for a wedding can be challenging, a it may involve a lot of preparation on lawn, garden, or removing unwanted distractions from the background, and depending on the size of the wedding renting tables and chairs and catering.
Jenny and Anton, did an amazing job, specially because their backward was already in a very good shape. Their place is of a great size to have a small ceremony and reception. We were impressed with everything they had thought of already when we met, so we were super excited when they asked us to be their wedding photographers in Guelph!
They are both brilliant on their work fields, and very straight forward people, so they were not interested in pretending anything. That’s way there was no first look for these two that have been living together for a while already. We met a the Riverside Park in Guelph and went for a walk to take some photos before their backyard wedding ceremony. The day was beautiful and although the time of the day was not so great due to the harsh light, we were able to capture awesome photos.
Congrats, Jenny and Anton! Thanks for letting us play a small part in such a beautiful day!
